Welcome!

I'm an Eastern Illinois University grad who loves everything to do with business (human resources is my specialty), social media, and politics.

From my first job in the cornfields of Central Illinois to working at a small business with a rich history and then becoming the Marketing & Communications Specialist for Tuscola Economic Development, Inc./Tuscola Tourism, I've had great experiences (and educations!) at an early age. Currently, I'm the Communications Director for Champaign County Economic Development Corporation.

I'm also the proud Co-Founder & Co-President of Douglas County Rotaract - a county-focused Rotaract group based in Tuscola, Illinois. With over 15 members (and growing!), we're a group of young professionals dedicated to giving back to our community.

Okay, I admit it: I'm also a social media junkie. From blogging to the occasional Twitter chats, I've met a lot of great people and gathered lots of useful information. Heck, I even attend social media conferences.
